Once again Yamaha pulled all the stops on the 1986 YZ’s, the YZ 80 being no exception.  The 86 YZ 86 was redesigned for 1986, the tank and body panels were changes but the  red frame was used once again.  Motor changes included a longer rod and improved porting on the cylinder.  Simply put, the 1986 YZ 80 is quick.
