    Description

This pair of old Jewelers Stamping Dies are
    nice
condition. I believe that these dies date from the 1920's or earlier, and I am sure you will know. Included here are
    (2) Jewelry/Pendant Die blocks
of long ago. These dies were purchased from a long defunct Jewelry store in central Ohio. The store had been closed since the 1940's.  Each of these die blocks measures about 1-1/2" inches in height and 1-1/2" inches across their outer diameter. Each cavity measures about 1" in length. Each of these depicts a die cavity with early aviation themed detail. One looks to be a propeller, while the other is from the Ohio State University Glider Club way back when(very early glider graphics). These dies are both made of hardened steel, and t

cracks or breaks on these gems, just a few rim dents(shown). Together these 2 die blocks weigh almost 1-1/2 lbs (<700 grams). Some aging on the outside surfaces of the blocks(all shown). Strong still, and both look to be usable. My 7 closeup photos are very true to life. Hopefully someone needs this to complete their collection. Too cool to pass up! Guaranteed 100% old and original. A must for the old Jewelry or Die maker. Buyer pays .50 carefully boxed shipping within the U.S. **
