Fokker T-2 - Genuine Piece of the Original Fabric on an Impressive Certificate

Description

This is a very impressive 4" x 5 1/4" certificate printed on heavy card stock showing a full length photo of the Fokker as well as a photo of the pilots - Lt. Oakley G. Kelly and Lt. John A. Macready - on the front. Kelly and Macready flew the Fokker on its historic first non-stop flight across the North American continent.
Attached to the left side of the front of this certificate is a genuine 1/2" x 1/2" piece of the original fabric from the Fokker T-2. This was removed by the Smithsonian during a renovation.
On the back of the certificate is one photo of both pilots and the aircraft and a second photo of the Fokker hanging from the ceiling in the Smithsonian after its renovation.
This is a beautiful piece and a terrific conversation item.
