Scratchboard original, Canada Geese. Scratchboard is a piece of 1/8" thick masonite, with a thin layer of white plaster, covered with black India ink. You scratch on the inked surface and it comes up white. Many thin scratch lines give you a light value in appearance. I find that animals with fur are the easiest images to scratch.
