Vin Fiz - Wright Brothers - Genuine Piece of the Original Fabric on COA

Description

Very striking 4" x 5 1/4" certificate printed on heavy card stock showing a full length b&w photo of the Vin Fiz in the air as well as one color image and two additional b&w photos - one of the plane on the ground and one of the pilot, Calbraith Perry Rodgers.
Attached to the left side of the front of this certificate is a genuine piece of the original fabric, about
1/2" x 1/2",
from the Wright Brothers Model EX - 1911. This was removed by the Smithsonian during a renovation.
The Vin Fiz Flyer was the first aircraft to fly coast-to-coast across the United States.
On the back of the certificate are two more color photos of the Vin Fiz hanging from the ceiling in the Smithsonian after its renovation.
This is a beautiful piece and a terrific conversation item.
